Where is Artemis Entreri?

Post by Valikar »

I have the "Versus Book Guide to Baldur's Gate, and in there they have said that you fight Artemis Entreri on your second visit to Bodhi's Dungeon. But when I got there he was now where to be found.

I need help because I want that jeweled dagger he carries. Image

Ahhhhh, yes artimas, i loved in R.A. Salvators books. Arch Nemisis of Drizzt D'ourden, what a wonderfull aray of imagination it sprang forth, like a well that would never go dry. Anyways, i haven't the slightest clue of where he is but i will say this "if you do get to fight artimas" i think that this game just went up a ten fold in my book (it was already pretty high). Anyways, i gotta get back to the basement

This is pretty interesting information, Valikar. I asked around on quite a lot of boards and the general feeling is that Artemis Entreri was not included in the game. Perhaps his presence is triggered by your responce to Drizzt then?

Maybe the guide was wrote before the game was completed and ready to ship. You know how game production teams like to do (remove?) things from the game at final moment... If that's the case, Bioware should put Artemis back in the expansion. It'll add more fun and interaction with Drizzt. Or better yet, we get quest from Drizzt ^_^

Yup, Regis drops him - to a spider web and he survives. He actually helps Drizzt & Catti brie to escape the underdark & menzoberranzan in the next book.

just fyi
IMO "The Servent of the Shard"(R.A. Salvatores' most recent book, starring jarlaxle and artemis entreri) is one of the BEST books he's writtin to date.
Do yourself a favor and pick it up.
what a suprise ending (though not completly unexpected!)

OK,I'll give you that one.
Perhaps he should just stick with his own characters. (in his defense, he must have been given the ok to do that by others in the higher order of the starwars literature business. You could blame the editor as much as R.A.S. i doubt it went "here bob, take all of the popular characters in the SW universe and do whatever you will with them. Whatever you say goes!")
but all the same...all those who like BG2 would surly enjoy this cool story of what happens when these 2 badasses (jarlaxle and artemis) team up!
it's very well written.

Ooooh now I'm gonna go CRAZY! *laughs* I just love Drizzt and can't get enough of R.A. Salvatore's writing, but all the 'Servant of the Shard' books sold out while I was out of town and I couldn't get one! My friend who works in the bookstore said it's gonna be a while before any more are scheduled to come in-- Should I spend the money to have it shipped, or just wait? I'm a big fan of Jarlaxle (He's awesome) and Artemis too...What a pickle.

I've seen something close. "What can't be cured must be endured,as the gnome said when he got his head stuck in his revolutionary new steam-powered grape press." Quote by Kitiara uth Matar.

Heh, and this one sounds like a lethal version of 'where's waldo'.

Where's Artemis? There? No. There? No. Why isn't it that man in the dark cloa-arghk!!!

I'd like to see waldo get out of that one, the ponce.

In response to the comment made about the book "Servant of the Shard", I agree wholeheartedly that it's probably R.A.'s best book to date. Anyone think he's gonna ditch the Drizzt line and focus a little more on Artemis for awhile?
