Who's seen spaceballs?
Hey has anyone seen spaceballs the hilarous takeoff of star wars?
Mahahaha dark side will always win
"Who's" is a shortened form of: "who IS," and not: "who HAS".
And perhaps this would have been better off in the "Movies I've Seen Lately" thread?

Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?

I particularly enjoyed the scene where Dark Helmet and his minions, eager to find out what was going to happen next, grabbed a video cassette of Spaceballs and hit fast-forward to the next scene.

No. It was a deliberate poke (like the Yogurt quote, above) on Lucas' seeing the Star Wars films as means-to-an-end: Making More Money. That's what Lucas wants; that's what drives him.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Fable's particularly skeptical about George Lucas, and I am less so. However, George Lucas' penchant for liscensing the "Star Wars" name to any and every product possible is a consistant theme throughout Space Balls ("Space Balls: the T-Shirt; Space Balls: the Breakfast Cereal;" etc).
(I personally think that George Lucas wanted to make a movie and then, after the fact, cashed in on it, but this is a debate for another thread)

I don't think that's true. But it is a great film. And I always find myself laughing twice at every joke- once at the joke itself, then at myself, for laughing as such a stupid joke. Doesn't matter how many times I've seen it, I still think Dark Helmet's entrance is one of the funniest moments ever caught on film.

I'm no SYM-regular but I really love that movie!
I'm not exactly a person who is easily rolling on the floor incapacitated with laughter but that movie sure did the trick, Rick Moranis was perfectly cast as dark helmet (darth vader parody) because darth vader is one of the most impressive and intimidating sights in movie history and Rick Moranis just...isn't.

I'm so serious it's comical!
