Is it worth buying? (whenever it comes out) I've started to slowly drift away from games, and now I only buy games that enough people agree are great...
Now I've heard a lot of praise for Fable, but I have also seen complaints. I read in the June issue of the American PCGamer that Fable TLC will have approx 33% more content... I only have a PC, so I was kind of dismayed when they said Fable would be Xbox exclusive... I suppose I should be happy, since Fable: TLC is on the PC, but I'm not all that sure that I want it all that much.
Opinions?

If you're looking for a thoroughly engrossing role playing game that reveals a complex universe, intricate battles, sophisticated plots, and fascinating NPCs, well then Fable isn't exactly what you're looking for.
Howevever, Fable: LC is probably worth your time if you're looking for some role playing fluff that will last 20-30 hours (depending on how much content has actually been added. The X-Box Fable is only about 15-20 hours.). In general, the game is fun. Combat is entertaining, the customization options are fun, the plot is trite but generally interesting, and the graphics and music are beautiful.
If you think you might enjoy the game, but don't want to spend the money on it, wait until after the first price drop to get it (or get it used after its been out a little while). Personally, I enjoyed Fable. You just have to recognize that its very over hyped. If you go in with lower expectations, you'll probably enjoy the game for what it is. It's not a bad game, however. It's just gotten a bad rap because a lot of people have been profoundly upset by its abbreviated nature. The Lost Chapters may remedy that somewhat, but I doubt it will do so in the substantial way it needs to be done. As long as you recognize that going into it, you'll probably enjoy the game.

Thanks, that helps a lot. Didn't make me decide one way or the other, but that was o be expected, I suppose. Since it's PC, it might be moddable which would be nice...
I think I'll just wait and see...
