Hello--I've read the threads on here about getting the password from the Messenger in the Vale of Ruin. I have placed the vial of blood on the altar, removed and replaced it again, in the 3.1 version, and still no messenger. I have searched in all directions, but no appearance, and not stuck in the trees. I have already completed the Draedoth temple quest and gotten the relic from there, but want to move onto the Tomb of Souls to obtain the relic located there. Any suggestions? As usual, thanks for any and all help!!!
All I can say is that you have to wait some time before the messenger shows up. I would not wander too far off. I did that once got into a fight and when I came back to the alter, the messenger was already flying off.
The messenger should fly in from the northwest so watch for her in that direction. She also will be at tree top level so look up. It does take awhile for her to show. If you going to try some more be sure you have a save to fall back on. They were suppost to fix this in the patch 1.3. D
