Wow, did anyone else know about the class swapping glitch for the Xbox? I learned about it a few days ago and have been using it. Apparently, you can turn any NPC into a Jedi with all of the same jedi features that your main character gets (force sensitivity, lightsaber prof, jedi defense.) It's nice to have Canderous as a third dark jedi. I love it when he yells "DIIEE!" Also, the game runs smoothly. No extra glitches from using the class swopping cheat.
Edit: From what I hear, it works on the PC version of Kotor as well as the Xbox version.

It's fairly simple to do. When you are on datooine and the one guy asks you which color/class of jedi you want, you pick. After that, he will give you a crystal and tell you to take it to the other guy to create your lightsaber. You have to quickly press the menu button after that dialog box closes, because after it does you will be forced to level up into which ever jedi class you chose. You have to press the menu button and go to your character profile, before he makes you level.
The PC's character screen should say something like soldier Lv7/jedi-class Lv0. Now go to party selection and add two people who are saving up a level, note that your main PC should also have been saving up a level before all of this. Make sure whoever is in your second slot--that means when you press the button to switch characters, whoever is after the PC is in the second slot--make sure that person is the one you want to change into a jedi.
Now you have to do this next part quickly. You have to press the one button, to switch from your PC to the second character, and then press the other button to level up, almost simultaneously, but not exactly simultaneously. It should cause a glitch because you pressed it too quickly and show the PC's head shot, but the NPC's body. That means you did it right. Skip through skills and pick a random feature--it doesn't matter, because you won't keep the skills or feature--but choose your 2 powers wisely, these will be the 2 powers your NPC starts out with.
After you finish, your NPC's stats should look something like scout Lv6/jedi-class Lv1. Your PC should also now have changed to soldier Lv7/Jedi-class Lv1, but this is a "fake level" that your PC went up and it will go away after you leave the enclave. (Edit: Make sure you are not switched back to your PC when you exit the menu, or you will be forced to level him/her up like the game intended.)
Your NPC got all the extra features your PC would've gotten (jedi defense, lightsaber prof, Force sensitivity.) Leave the enclave, because you need to go through a loading screen. Once you do that, the "fake level" your PC went up before will go away and your character screen will say soldier Lv7/Jedi-class Lv0 again. Now you can repeat the process to make another Jedi out of one of your other NPCs. Then, after that, you can walk through the enclave door again and get rid of your fake level again and again making as many jedi as you care for out of your group. It seems to not work so well with droids, they cant cast anything or use lightsabers.
Make sure to get rid of your fake levels before making another jedi. If you don't, then the NPC jedi you make won't get the jedi features (force sensitivity, or the ability to use lightsabers). So you have to go through the enclave door to get rid of your fake levels before making another NPC jedi.
Once you're done making all the NPC jedi you desire. Get rid of your "fake level" and level up your PC normally. Now your main character will be a jedi too with all the features and the 2 powers you pick for him to start out with.
Reasons It Might Not Work
It has not worked for me in the past for some reason and I've had to try over and over.
A: You might be pressing the two buttons too closely together that it doesn't reconize the person in the second slot.
B: It may be skills/features oriented. Even though these are fake skills and features and won't effect your characters by researching them at all. You might want to try spending points on different combinations of skills and features when class swapping.
C: Your Xbox could be a piece of junk, like mine. Keep trying till you get it right.
It's cool to have Candy, another dark jedi on your team. Or to have Carth, who would be good for female players, but also would make a jedi who has more light side points than Jolee on your team and can use the star forge robes. Or those of you who are twilek fans and want Misson as a twilek jedi on your team.

Keep in mind anyone you are trying to change into a Jedi must be lvl 7 waiting to level up. You must enter a loading screen to make a new member into a jedi. But keep in mind. You MUST go through a loading screen BEFORE you level yourself up, or you will lose the option of gaining lightsaber proficiency etc.
I've turned a level 4 Zalbaar and a level 6 Mission into jedi.
Edit: Make sure that after you create your first NPC jedi, that you are not switched back to your PC when you exit the menu. Otherwise, your PC will be forced to level like he was supposed to. If you level up the PC, you won't be able to make anymore NPC's jedi.
Note that your NPC's don't have a jedi AI, even when you turn them into jedi. They will still be effective damage dealers with lightsabers, but you will have to switch to controlling them in order to get them to use force powers.
