Demon Stones

Hey All,

Was wondering if someone could shed some light as to how to get out once you get the Relic in Dreadoth Castle.

I have collected enough Demon Stones to unlock the Relic, but when you go through the next gate it seems to require another stone to activate the portal... I have searched everywhere to find the last stone but no luck.

keep looking for the stone. i was in the same boat. i kept looking until i found another demon stone and activated the teleporter so that i could leave.

You probably missed one Chest. Check next to the collapsing stair, I missed that Chest the first tiume round

Is there a chest down in the water... I have been down there as well but only hoped from platform to platform.

And is there anything that will EAT ME! down there?? lol

No Chests in the Water. Just about 5 of them in the Towers (higher up) including one to the Right of that Balrog.

Nothing in the water will kill you except falling into it near the Balrog which for some reason does (even after he is defeated).

Last Stone

I completed the game in May before the patch. Now I am patched.
I can't seem to located the last stone needed to leave using the transporter (Dreadoth's Castle). I have the relic (Shield) and have gone over every inch at least 4 times.
Can someone enlighten me because I obviously don't remember what I did the first time played.

The automap appears to be completely exposed/travelled so I am sure I have found all the chests.

Is there a trick to the last stone ?
Can someone please tell me where to find it ?
I am tired of running around in circles

I appreciate any help offered.

If i remeber well, there are four or five chests in Khad's domain (all lvl 7) and Khad himself will drop one of the stones after you'll kill him.I was collected all demon stones and after leaving the temple, one of them still in my inventory, so i quess there are enough of these.

If you got 4 stones from chest before getting to Khad then the one you are missing was dropped by Khad. If you got the one Khad dropped then you missed one of the chest. The chest that have stones are all in the bridge/ jumping maze before Khad. None of the chest are in the water but Khad may have dropped his in the water so you'll have to swim around to find it. D

Found Demon Stones and Finished game again

Thanks to both Michalos and ferncliff for you timely and wise help.
In fact, as fercliff indicated, Khad did drop the stone into the water.
Although, by the time I returned to that area (after exhausting every single inch of the dungeon for hours and about 10 times - literally), I could not see any stone in the water. However, I just swam around the central tower/platform where Khad once was while hitting my "use" key to finally pick up the final stone. All I can say is Phew ! I'm glad that part is over.

PS> Here are my final stats (2nd time completing game - with automap this time).

Final Note : This game is "Much Better" with automap and no bugs/errors this time either.
