I've always wondered about that Bith scientist, what did he discover and who killed him (I mean who sent the droid).
It's some kind of a consipracy, but what was the signal he was getting, and who wanted to hide it, and why?
Anyone has any speculations or something?
Bith scientist
Have you used your awareness skill to find something strange about the droids on Nar Shaddaa? Have you taken T3-M4 or Bao-Dur as part of the rescue party boarding Goto's yacht and heard what they have to say about the droid controller near the bridge? Have you spoken to G0-T0 about himself and his operations on Nar Shaddaa?
Even with the cut HK Factory and the Droid Planet, there is enough detail to answer the question...
Spoiler, highlight to view:
G0-T0 is Goto: the hologram is a trick to make everyone believe that Goto is an elusive humanoid. G0-T0 is using the mysterious signal the Bith is investigating to control the majority of the droids on Nar Shaddaa. The Bith is getting a little close so he is killed, his courier is killed and evidence is removed, and an attempt make on your life when you try to help; all down to G0-T0.

"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.

Maybe I am reading this wrong but are you saying Goto is the droid G0-T0? Because I guess he is because he controlls him but Goto is actually human.

Add l Skinflute l (Lower case L's) if you think you can beat me 1v1 snipers in Halo 2.
thanks
I guess I'll concentrate more on Go-To in my second playing.
But one more thing.
How do you gain his influence? I've really tried talking to him first time I've played the game, and did gain some influence but not enough to get by that first influence-question about operations on har shaddaa.
So, what does he like me to do? I know what others like, for example mandalor (who is Canderous I believe) likes me to fight and be strong, HK droid likes brutality. I assume goto likes good trades or something. Like asking big money for favours. Am I right?
And how many times must I raise influence before I can start talking

Spoiler: There is no Goto. There is only G0-T0, as he will explain if you get three lots of influence with him. He is, in fact, the droid intelligence that went missing from Telos, who was created by the Republic to ensure it's survival. He took his programming too literally, and decided that he couldn't save the Republic whilst remaining within the confines of it's laws. He had the droid equivalent of a nervous breakdown and went to Nar Shaddaa to take over the Exchange and, in doing so, fulfill his programming. Hence the whole "Save the Republic" thing.

Pretty much. You can get influence with G0-T0 for taking money to stabilize Dantooine, Onderron and Telos (although with the Telos Fuel Quest a little bit broken, you can't get money for Telos. Fix available for the PC version from the TSL Restoration Project, here). You can also get influence for selling the Starport Visas for the best prices. Not to mention killing innocents. Of course it goes without saying that all of this is DS.
Influence guide here.

I don't remember how much influence is required to get G0-T0 to talk about his operations on Nar Shaddaa, but to talk about himself is a three part conversation, each requiring one influence gain. In addition to getting backstory, you also get 1,000XP for each part you uncover. G0-T0 won't confrim the truth of your argument until you get all three parts.
