can anyone help me please i cant find my way back out of the fire drakes area and its driving me mad. i seem to be going round in circles

Go all the way south and turn and face north. Now start walking while following the mountains on your right side. There is a narrow passageway leading out of the area. Or use the automap

map wont work

i am pressing m for automap and it wont come on is this because i have used a trainer in the past. Is it south from the temple of diamond light that you meant as im having trouble still?

Auto map comes with patch 1.3 if you haven't down loaded that otherwise I don't know why you wouldn't have a map.
From the temple of diamond light head north following the mountains on the east side. After a short distance you turn south following the moutains which are now on the southwest side. D
