I don't know... But I like the rain... Makes umm.. playtime more fun

You and Magrus, Ravager? You two are made for each other, the amount of jib you've been spouting over last few days!
Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?
Me: put simply.... No :D
Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.

Missing the rain for now, at least. Looks like I'm not in the forecasted area of 'local flooding' either. What a shame :D .

I know either I'm trying to impress Maggie, or I've become infected. Maybe it's part of my plan to insinuate myself subtly or with a sledgehammer. Whatever's convienient at the time :D .

Ooh! 'Insinuate'. Nice :p .

As for the ongoing MP3 saga, I managed to get the program working on my Win XP machine, but I couldn't convert CD Audio straight to MP3, so I'm thinking of using WMA files on an MP3 player instead. Otherwise I would have to use Media Player to copy the file to the hard disk, convert to WMA BEFORE using Xilsoft to convert to MP3. It seems like a waste of time :( .

Hmmm... I belive CD audio is in wav format. Thing is, the disc generally prevents direct opening on the computer. Thats where WMP comes in. The advantage of MP3 is... I dunno  Heads off to research! :) I guess it'll just be greater compatibility... Especially for Microsoftphobes

Apparently, WMA is a lot better, especially as newer players are more compatible.
I'll leave you to decide :)

Arrgh! This whole MP3 business is too much. This is what I get for trying to help mum :p .
One CD I tried and couldn't see the tracks and the other had all the tracks in a 'cda' format. And they were the actual tracks as they had names such as 'track1.cda'. CDA format wasn't one of the one in your program unfortunately :( .
If CD Audio tracks were WAV files, it would be a little to easy, don't you think? It's probably some kind of anti-piracy thing, confuse everyone to sleep :o .
Well as long as WMA works alright, I'll probably go with that. Make life simpler :D .

Easy decision, then ;) .

Now, I'm ordering some stuff off Amazon for my birthday. Less than a week to go :D .

Worms 4: Mayhem, Stargate SG-1 DVD, 2 Forgotten Realms books. I've been given £40 to spend so I'm going to have to pay back £6. Amazing, eh  ?

So, doing anything interesting recently?
I saw your photo on the SYM photos thread, nice :p .

No, thats 'Worms Forts: Under Siege'. I own that too. In fact I own most of the series. WF:US is quite good but it does limit you to your buildings where you fire the good weapons such as a big trebuchet that fires a moose :p , or a sleeping mexican cluster bomb. You can only use bazookas and grenades off of the buildings and they are practically useless when compared to the other weapons :( .

The latest Worms game is released tomorrow and apparently allows you to create your own weapons :D .

I'll have to see about getting my own photo up. Though it was taken by a really cheap, poor digital camera, so I'll see.

I'm going now, so talk to you later.

I've just had a look around, and I'm wondering, what happened to the word accociation thread?
And lo ye must learn of the great war that raged fo a couple of posts and brought the citadel momentaraly to its knees
I've just had a look around, and I'm wondering, what happened to the word accociation thread?
A long, long time ago, a wizard prayed to his gods, and the gods responded. The sky went dark, all the birds and the frogs and rats and even the ants came out of their hiding, running from where the wizard was. The old wise man could not move, petrified in terror of what was going on.

The next morning, he logged on and saw that the Word Ascociation Thread was closed and the sky had returned to it's pretty blue color again...

END.

I'm hiding from the wretched sun. That and trying to see if I can't work out a way to find one of nearly non-existant things around here called jobs.

I concur, snows the best, suns just boring, you can't really roll around in it, or throw it at people.

This is true! I hate sweating and feeling fatigued and dehydrated as well. It's just no good. At least in the winter you can play to get warm. In the summer, you hide in shade to keep cool.
