What level are you at end of game?

Post by smiles1014 »

Hi all,

I am about to head into the Forbidden & Demigoth Lands and I am at level 25 from killing moonbeasts and dragons for several hours. I am a Adept/Celestial/Mage/Sorcerer/Wizard with stats to name a few:

Arcane - 20
Celestial - 11
Nether - 12
Scribe - 10
Spellfire - 9

Light Weapons - 10
Magic Weapons - 10
Light & Med Armor - 7

Strength - 60
Intelligence - 80
Dexterity - 85
Agility - 85
Vitality - 60
Honor - 60

Should I bother raising my levels any more? Also, where can I get the CATACLYSM spell?

Thanks!!

the CATACLYSM spell isn't in the game.
If I were you I would want to raise my Strength and Vitality some more. But not really nessasary. You don't need to raise your weapons or armor untill you find a weapon or armor that requires it to be raised. Putting more exp points in magic skills is always nice but yours are already pretty high. In short you can finish the game as is. But do you have enough spells to carry you through. If you've been killing moon beast and dragons to get where you are then you didn't make any money in the process and the number of spells you have may not match your skills. If you are on your way to the forbibben lands for the first time ie. you havn't done the naga temple then you are crazy ready for that. D

Yeah, I have only 11 fireballs, bought 2 fire novas, and 2 iceballs. Have a ton of shreiking stars and magic missles. I would like to get a FIRE MISSLE and a FIRE / ICE STORM but have not seen and do not know where to get or buy...any idea where to look?

FIRE MISSLE and a FIRE / ICE STORM are not in the game (ya ,I know, sorry). Blast nova, fire nova, ice nova, ice ball and fire ball with a bunch of magic missle for the little stuff is the way to go. Blast nova being the best just because nothing is immune to it. ie. some things are immune to fire or ice or both. Grymlock in the northlands sells ice ball and ice nova. Fargrove to buy everything else. After the naga temple you should have a little cash to do some shopping. D
PS you can sell 1 spell to the guy in fargrove, of a type he doesn't have, and then he will have it to sell in unlimited suppy and he then can be your one stop shop.

Yes, I agree. Blast Nova is the best because no one is immune to it, which is create. There is always someone or something that is immune to the fire or ice nova. Plus the fire nova has such a long recovery time; after you cast fire nova it is a few seconds (very long in the middle of a fight) before you can do anything like cast another spell, switch to sword for melee, or even pick up something. I think your agility to reduce this time, but I never got it down to something I really liked. By the end of the game I could almost fire the blast nova machine-gun like in rapid succession, which was awesome. Also, the fire nova costs about 3 times as much as the blast nova, and I would rather have three blast novas intead of one fire nova.
