Trouble in Planar Sphere

I have tried to kill Lavok, but that didn't work (he never died.) So I went and got the heart of the demon and started up the sphere, yet Lavok is still standing by the controls.....How do I finish the sphere???

There's a thread here that has a similar problem.Do a search or wait for Weasel Image

Lavok didn't die for me but after I injured him to the point of almost dying he "came to" and became my best buddy, lying down where he was standing telling me to get the heart of a demon etc. It sounds like you've got a bug. Maybe the Interplay boards can help.
