Traffik - how to get OUT of the garage unseen?
I play a Gangrel, not very developed yet. In the Traffik quest, I’ve managed to make it to the 4th level of the parking garage unseen (using the vent system) and grabbed the white briefcase. Now I’m stuck behind the back of three Tong men: I can walk or stealth, but it seems like I can’t return to the vents the way I came (or can I?). Neither will I be able to sneak all the way back to the exit without using the vents or fight all the thugs (besides, I’d like to complete this quest without killing anyone – I know it is possible theoretically). What should I do?
You get point for getting the briefcase AND 2 for not being seen - so it soounds like you were seen. first few times I didn't know about the extra XP so I tried all kinds of strategies - most of them involving a bit of mayhem.
I have never sneaked back up - but there is no reason that the route will not reverse. remembering the route is not always easy and that may be part of the problem. the patrol patterns may be unhelpful.
I have successfully killed all three of the Tong guarding the briefcase using stealth kills one after the other. buff adds dex points up to 5, so that helps in sneaking. also - make sure that you don't use armour that impedes dex, unless you have the fae charm.
Traffik is an excellent mission to practice techniques - the open spaces provide good room to manoevre. it would be fun to have celerity 5, but I don't allocate the points for that until later on in my development programme.
the axe and utica come into their own - but you can pick up a braddock and blaze away at close range too if you like.

You can get to the briefcase unseen, no problem. Unless you have celerity or obfuscate, however, it's all but impossible to sneak back out. You can, however, still get out without killing anybody. You sneak as much as you can, and when you get spotted, boot it for one of the vent ladders and hide until the heat's off. If you have non-lethal disciplines to slow down your attackers (certain of dementation, dominate, thaumaturgy, and so forth) that can also help. For myself, they're gangsters. I grease the lot of them on my way out, even if it takes longer.
