I've never been affected by a film in this way before. I saw Paul Haggis' film Crash, and I've just been contemplating it ever since. It is a powerful, important film, that I think every single adult in the world should see. It is about racism and anger. It is one of the few films I've seen that I think can actually affect it's audience for the better, even if it's only one in a thousand people. The theater I saw it in was full, and one guy (to the great anger and shame of a lot of the people there) laughed at a moment when a store clerk insulted a person of seemingly Arab decent. By the end of the showing, he was just as silent as everyone else, and had the same shell shocked look and emotionaly drained look the rest of the audience had.
If anyone's seen it, I'd love to hear your opinions.
