Multiple Strongholds

Post by Belial »

I'm a fighter/thief multi
I just killed torgal in the d'arnse (forgive my spelling, i get the feeling it's incorrect) keep and walked out of the keep and was offered it,
Then i remembered that there is a mod to enable you to have multiple strongholds, so i quit the game, installed the mod (from the ease of use mod), and then when I loaded the autosave from leaving the keep and walked outside the keep wasn't offered to me

I was wondering if any of you know why this might be and any way to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Well, from what I hear, that mod is rather buggy. Also you might have to install from before you start playing.
In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

Buggy?

The only problem I've ever had with the Multi-Stonghold mod is regarding the Cleric strongholds. You probably do need to not have started any related quests, though, in order for it to work properly.

I´m playing a solo Assassin/Figher. When I was a thief I was offered Mae'Vars Guild, and as an Assassin/Figher, when I finished Nalia's quest, I got also the castle, so now I have the two of them. And I have the standard version installed, no funny modes.
And right accion is freedom
from past and future also

Well, that was the one loophole in the original game, if you were a fighter/thief you could gain both strongholds.

Yes, you can get the Fighter stronghold if you get another stronghold FIRST and if you DON'T have Nalia in your party. There was a bug in the script where Nalia offers you the stronghold where it wouldn't check for prior strongholds if she wasn't in your party. This applies to any stronghold, not just the thief one.

There is a similar bug in the Mage stronghold where it won't check for priors if you DON'T take Lavok outside. I am not sure if it works with Valygar in your party or not because I rarely take him with me, but it certainly does work if he is not in your party.

Thus FMT or FMC can both get 3 strongholds and any other valid combination of Fighter or Mage can get two.
