strongest weapon (possible spoilers)

Post by buzeel1 »

I remember that a few weeks ago I found a site on the internet where it was described which combination of upgrades and original weapon is the strongest in the game, both for melee and ranged. But I can't find that site again.

So does anyone know the link?

and if not, do you have advice about which combinations give the strongest ranged weapon and melee

I believe the best upgradable gun is that one starting with "z" but I can't remember the name. Is this true? (is this the stronges upgradable gun?)
And where do I find/buy it it?

thanks

my favorite melee is the sith sword, very rare, very powerful, check everywhere.

my favorite ranged is the baragwin heavy repeating blaster.

The Zersium rifle is hands down the best ranged weapon in the game. It starts off doing 3-25 energy damage, but when you combine it with the Mandalorian Chamber Mark III, Pure Rylith Power Cell, and Targeting Scope Mark IV or Crippling Scope Mark III, it does something like 7-67 damage.

I don't think it's located anywhere in particular; as I remember it's one of those randomly generated items.

Is it possible that it gets generated in any of the worlds that you go to by choice (in other words, not AFTER meeting on dantooine).
Becuase it would be great to find it early in the game

while it wud be incredible to find sumthin that powerful early in the game (and quite fun if I do say so myself), random item drops aren't completely random. They are tied a bit to your experience level. But watch out...I've played at level 50 a couple times, and it seems like half of all the metal boxes now are empty, and I can't seem to receive items/lightsabers anymore for completing quests

does this randomness apply for items that you can buy, or just to those that you can find around?

it would apply to merchants items if you save before you talk to them for the first time, and reload from there. I saved right before the Duros brothers stores on Telos, and I managed to find a silver crystal and some jedi and sith robes after reloading a couple times.
