carth and the (male) exile (Spoilers)

Post by yoyopogo104 »

i noticed that when playing male u get to encounter carth and he asks you about finding revan and doing him a favor (i forget exactly what that favor was, so if ne1 knows please feel free to post it :) ). then, playing female he doesnt do this. im curious as to why he only approaches the male exile w/ this matter. i mean, playing the exile male/female shouldnt have made a diff in this, should it? a female exile could just as well find the female revan. i just wonder what u guys have to say about this.

If you set Reven as a female lightsider, you should actually be seeing more of Carth than you would as a male lightsider.

Are you finding that the actual dialogue toward the end of the game with Carth has changed depending on your character's gender? Or, did you set Reven as a darksider? If that's the case, Carth shouldn't appear at all, regardless of Reven's gender.

Carth DOES appear if you chose the darkside, just not in person. T3 has a video of him.

Your last chance for complete dark sider/ light side redemption comes when you face Bastila. As for Carth's reappearance that would be an outcome of the romance, I guess. Maybe he follows Revan outside the Rim.

You face Bastila in a possible fight before Malak in KOTOR1.

We're in KotOR II here.

You fight Malak, Bastila, and I think 3 other Jedi visions at the beginning of the tomb.

Ravager: Carth never followed Revan to the Rim. If you set Revan as LS(regardless of gender) you will meet Carth by end game. If you set Revan as DS(also regardless of gender) you will not see Carth or Bastila except for a hologram.

And the order of the tomb fights are: Malak and crew. Kreia or the illusions of your party, then Darth Revan at the end. :P

well, i just wanted to c if ne1 else realized how carth asked u to keep an eye out for revan when u are a ls male but not as ls female, so, DID ne1 realize this, or am i writing a run-on sentence just to be alone in my own crazy world again? (i cant believe how many times this can happen to me...)

You chose Reven's alignment and gender on Peragus in your first conversation with Atton. When he begins talking about Reven, you can correct him in various ways. The changes you make or don't make to his version of the story determine Reven's alignment and gender.

It sounds like you may have chosen Reven to be evil. Are you seeing Carth in other parts of your game? If so, it may just be a bizarre gender thing no one else has noticed.

Sorry, I got confused  .

I though we were talking about the transition from KOTOR1 to KOTOR2 and which characters came through.
So you mean the 'Unknown Tomb' on Korriban? :p

yep, the unkown tomb, although i thought it was the tomb of ludo kressh or someone like that (or i think it was exar kun). its all good... like chimaera said, u face bastila, malak, and three other jedi there. and then they all magically dissapear! :p

i guess i didnt realize that i chose revan to be ds. so, does that mean if u chose him as ls on peragus, then u dont have to fight him, or do u still fight him just for the fun of it?
