Huge bug/glitch in my X-Box version of KOTOR2!!! (Might contain spoilers for some)

Ok, so here I am, battling Darth Nihilus, all's good, killed the guy, screen goes blank, I'm thinking cutscene......
Nothing happens. I've waited for maybe two minutes, started pressing buttons, nothing happens. I checked the walkthrough, and read that he will take his mask off, I can take it, and move on.
I figure, I save the game, and load from that slot. Now, the game starts after the battle, with Nihilus just standing there, doing nothing. Can't talk to him are what, but his health is all gone, so I did defeat him. I figure, no mask, move on.

All cool, I have the cutscene with Carth and Bastilla, all cool. I end up at Malachor, and here is where things get really weird.....

According to the walkthrough, I should start this level ("Surface" in the walkthrough) as the remote.

However, I can play this level as my main character!!! What went wrong??? Has anyone else encountered this???

Oh, and by the way, I saved the game right before my battle with Nihilus, and tried doing it all over. Same thing happened, no cutscene of him taking of his mask.

Someone had a similar issue with the walkthrough. You're not meant to start out as the remote; the walkthrough is mistaken. You start as your main character; if you have Mira, you play with her later, and you'll also play as the remote at some point.

As for Nihilus taking his mask off, he never does that. Visas does, and she'll bring it to you if you ask her to; but you can't wear it.

Thanks man, 'preciate that, atleast I can finish the game.

Any idea though as to why I didn't get the cutscene of Visas taking of the mask etc???

What is Visas supposed to see? I mean, when I saw the cutscene, she said something like "I saw a dead planet" (translation from german version). What does this mean? Did she see it as revenge for her destroyed planet? And did Nihilus have no face???

Maybe she meant she saw a lifeless void, like the planets that he would destroy to feed himself.
