Dantooine loose ends (spoilers)

Post by Loumbas »

I am at Dantoine for the first time without having contacted all the Jedi masters yet.

I have a few loose ends though I am not sure if they are related:

(a) Unifinshed quest on dead salvager. My journal says to speak to the salvagers to see if anyone knows. I tried both before and after the main battle (I am playing light side). But the quest didnt close.

(b) There are 4-5 doors in the main building called private doors and I cant get them (I am guessing this is maybe where the masters will stay later or something). Should I worry about them now?

(c) The redemption quest is also open. I talked to Vrook, Terena, Zerron (or whatever his name is) but that is still not done.

(d) My group is gone (maybe back to the ship)??

Please, any feedback on any one of these?

More problems: same type

In fact I just realized there are at least two more problems I have:

1. No Thorium charges on that merchant guy (even before the battle). At least he doesnt sell any.

2. There is a storage place I dont have access to because I jammed the door. Should I have just busted it first and then fix it or something. I am playing LS so I guess I had to jam it.
(a) Unifinshed quest on dead salvager. My journal says to speak to the salvagers to see if anyone knows. I tried both before and after the main battle (I am playing light side). But the quest didnt close.
The quest may not be resolvable after the main battle, but should certainly be resolvable before it. You need to speak to the woman at the salvager camp to get the quest, and then find the two bodies (and the will) in the enclave sub-level - one body won't do it. After that, you can forge the will and claim the booty from Zherron, take the bodies to Zherron without forging the will, or give the bodies to the salvager woman who will forge the will herself (speak to Jorran before speaking to her to get some confirmation of this).
(b) There are 4-5 doors in the main building called private doors and I cant get them (I am guessing this is maybe where the masters will stay later or something). Should I worry about them now?
If you use the Force Sight ability (if you have that from Visas yet) you will see that they are bedrooms. So, they are private rooms in the literal sense of the word and you won't ever get a key to those rooms. There isn't anything of interest in them, either...
(c) The redemption quest is also open. I talked to Vrook, Terena, Zerron (or whatever his name is) but that is still not done.
Ah, now that quest is genuinely broken. It cannot be resolved as far as I can ascertain.

After you tell Zherron that you are ready to finalize the battle plans, you participate in the battle solo. After the battle is over, and you have talked to Vrook and Adare you will still be alone, because, as you say, your party are on the Hawk. You can use the party selection screen to add them back in, though, without returning to the ship.

Missed your second post, so here goes...
1. No Thorium charges on that merchant guy (even before the battle). At least he doesnt sell any.
Thorium charges aren't in his inventory, no. However, once you get the quest to recruit for the militia, you can ask him to join. He will say that he can't do that because he doesn't have enough space to put his goods in storage while he is fighting. The end of this convo is the offer to sell you the thorium charge for 1,000 credits to alleviate his storage problem. You can still confront him about his hyrdospanner afterwards if you like.
2. There is a storage place I dont have access to because I jammed the door. Should I have just busted it first and then fix it or something. I am playing LS so I guess I had to jam it.
It is up to you. You can either jam the door and make the fight with Azkul a little easier or open the door and plunder the room. However if you open the door you can't jam it afterwards. I always open the door as you won't notice any real difference in the battle.
