Anyone around to talk (or spam) to?
Earlier than usual for me, I know. :)

Oh, to add to the whole terrorist thing, I'm surprised Brussels hasn't been a target before now. :(

Erm, that's good? Careful Kitten, don't want to break your ankle. That ruins all sorts of fun possibilities.
That's not sinister. That's macabre.

But how would you feel if that actually happened in Tokyo now  Well... jackpot?
Yes, macabre is a better word.

What would you do if it happened to Tokyo? Grieve? Oh come on, 5 minutes of grieving doesn't count, you hypocrite! Everytime they don't bomb your own person you are and should be glad and why not 'celebrate' it? No, seriously, why not? Well, because of the people who died ofcourse. But people die all the time of more painfull and slower deaths! ARGH! I have this terrible feeling this just makes too much sense and that I'm forgetting something... :(

Here's my thought.

Why don't we just avoid the terrorist bombs anywhere in the world.

Is that so naive? :p

Avoid? Well, yeah, that is just a little naive, I think. Or perhaps not naive, but unrealistic.

Since you can't avoid the bombs, you might as well incorporate them into a betting game. It doesn't improve the situation, nor worsen it... It just feels naughty/incorrect or something like that, right?

I seriously wonder why...

Yes, politically incorrect.

The reason?

Even if it happens far away, we're still talking about people dying for some cause completely unrelated to them due to a terrorist's unrealistic demands.

How about that for realism? :p

Their demands are unrealistic, their targets almost random, their victims innocent and defenseless.

That just displays the political incorrectness of the terrorists, not of the supposed betting game, because "betting game" <is not equal to> "terrorists". And the people that get fatally wounded shall die, with or without some crazy people betting on where and when they died.

And yet, I too feel it's kind of weird.

What about the matter of a betting game publicising and maybe even glorifying (in some people's eyes) a terrorist act?

And what message does it send that that you take abet on such a thing?
That you expect something to happen or want it to. Even despite a better's intentions there are the views of anyone who knows of such a thing happening.

A winning better could also be said to be profiting from terrorism. Not to mention innocent deaths.

*coughs* I wonder if I'm still in charge when LA isn't around the citadel?

Quit spamming the citadel with such serious business. :p

Sorry, Maggie. I didn't start it. *whistles innocently*
LA doesn't seem to be around the Citadel as much as you, anyway. Lately, I've been the one holding it together. :D

Reading your other post, it looks like Grimar wants to set himself up as your successor. Better be careful! :D
