I am now at the point I give the letter to Lord davenmore ; he asks me to investigate about his daughter's disapearance but I can't get access to any of the castle's inside doors I see although Lord claims I would have ; it seems I miss the key.

The door to the left of the throne should open automatically when you approach it.
