What's the Max Level?

My characters have maxed out at level 10. I thought max level was 20. Do I have to do something before it lets me continue to gain exp?

The original game maxes out at 10. Most patch configurations by now include the "level uncapper" that lets you go to 20. I, for instance, run patch 2 with temple.zip (instead of patch 3), and can pass level 10. If you've not installed patch 3 yet, you can still install temple.zip on top of patch 2 (I'm assuming you've got that one). If you have patch 3 installed, in order to get temple.zip to work properly, you should uninstall the game and reinstall it with just patch 2 before adding temple.zip. (This won't require you to lose your saves, if you take the save folder and put it somewhere else, then just put it back after you've reinstalled.)
