need help converting Mira into jedi
This is my second time playing Kotor 2 and i cant seem to convert Mira into a jedi no matter how high my charisman and other skills are. She keeps telling me to keep my jedi training to myslef or another padawan. First time i play'd it i was a light side jedi. Mira was the last character i got because Corrasant was the second to the last plannet i visited. So i didn't have either the requirments to convince her or just didnt have enough time to do it. Now that im a constant side steping(neutral) jedi i went to corrasant as my first freely chossen plannet. Im on my last planned Korrabin and no matter how hard i try i still cant turn her over. Not only that i the Handmaiden wont even speek to me anymore. Any one have any answers towards why this BS is happening to my character.

i think u meant Nar Shadaa was your last planet before korriban. ur not alone, buddy. i still havent got the chance to convert her, but there are other threads about this topic. i can tell u that ud probably want to get her earlier on in the game next time if u wanna convert her, though. influence can take time.
as for handmaiden...do u have a lot of influence with visas? if so, this is probably why she wont talk to u. i guess its kinda like they're secretly fighting to win u over.

Mira is the easily the hardest person to turn into a Jedi. You need about 4-5 influence levels to even show her the force. The easiest influences is just talking to her on the ship. Do the restless conversation, and choose the top answers all the way through. That should be one influence. Next, do the restless thing again, but this time when she says something like "It has its own energy blah blah blah" scroll down and choose the "you're right. I've never thought about it like that." That's another influence level. Next, if you haven't done Dxun yet, bring her with you. When you face off against the 3 Duros bounty hunters, choose the "you better be careful, because i'm with a REAL bounty hunter" answer. There's another one. By then, you should probably have gotten her to open up about Hanharr. You do that right, and there's another level. I think you can also stand to gain an influence level by talking to her about her family. That should be enough, but if it isn't, if you found the hydrospanner in the droid on Dantooine, bring it the the merchant outside Khoonda, and ask him out. He'll tell you his story. Give him 500 credits, and you will gain more influence. Make sure only Mira is with you there. By now, she should allow you to take her to Nar Shaddaa. Bring her to the railing in front of the doorway with all the lights, where Kriea showed you the force originally, and a cut scene will occur. Voila, Mira's a Jedi. Phew... that was long-winded...
What are you people talking about? Mira is posibly the easiest character to turn to a jedi. In all my games I managed to do it in a single conversation aboard Ebon Hawk imediatly after she joined my party, and then all I had to do is show her how to feel Nar Shaddaa. Unfortunaty it's been awhile since I played this game but I remember gaining 3 or 4 LSP and 3 influence levels in that conversation.

I have to agree. Everytime I've converted Mira to a Jedi, I've never had ot leave Nar Shaddaa.

Problems with Bao-Dur? He was my easiest... and Mira is annoying, just dont get into that annoying loop about you coming on to her, or w/e. I hit it about 40 times before the word father popped up.

You probably don't have enough influence with him, yet. Check out the influence guide. You can download it here .

Take her to Nar Shaddaa. You'll have a chance to ask her if she was raised there, she'll tell you and after that conversation it will give you influence. Then ask her something about Why is she feeling better on the planet than on Ebon Hawk. She'll tell you that she like's the noise on the planet(or somethin like that). Then use the 4 th or 5 th answer the one that says that it's true what she's saying, she'll say that she didn't expect to hear that from a Jedi, and that will gain you more influence. Then ask her about Hanharr. If she is willing to tell you the story it means you have enough influence to tell her about the Force.( If she doesn't want to talk about it ask her somethin else to gain more influence). She'll be sceptical but will agree on letting you prove to her that the Force exists. You'll have to take her to the same place where Kreia showed you to feel the life on Nar Shaddaa. When you reach there Mira will ask you why you have stopped there and you can tell her that you want to show her wat Kreia showed you. After that voila Mira becomes a Jedi.
May the Force be with you!
Mira is the most important person for me to convert though I convert all of them now. She's also the fastest and easiest because you can do it all at once, no waiting, instant gratification! For me Bao-Dur and Handmaiden took the longest this last time through.
She's the most important because she has to fight alone in the end game. The first time I played, she wasn't a Jedi and it was a pain so now I make sure she has a saber and force powers.

I think thats its fairly plain that people all have different people that they suck at making into jedi. Though myself, I appear to be the only one who has no problem with Bao-Dur, and also no problem with the handmaiden
If you want to convert Mira, make sure that you get all possible ifluence points out of her. If you lose even one influence, Im fairly sure that it goes against the only talking to change her into a jedi thing. The problem is for Ls, is that I believe only one of the influence points you can gain out of conversation with her wont get you DS, and thats one of the rare one you can use for Bao-Dur.

I don't think that's true. I don't have a problem turning any of them into Light Mastery Jedi as LS, but the way you have to gain influence with Bao-Dur and Handmaiden takes time. With Bao-Dur you have to get him in front of the right situations and with Handmaiden you have to wait to gain experience betwen training sessions. So they are both easy for me as LS but no instant gratification - I guess that's a bit of Revan and Malak in me! I also don't level anyone up (except for Atton a few levels in the beginning) until after they are a Jedi so those two don't live up to their potential for a while.

With Mira, as LS, I get all my influence points from talking with her on the Ebon Hawk and then I take her to feel the force. I haven't run across getting DS from talking with Mira yet. I'll have to try some other lines - what are you using to get DS?
I've been in a situation where I either lose influence with Visas or get DS points, in the Iziz Cantina when she wants to mop up this plague of innocent bystanders. I believe one of your responses is "Clean away, Visas!". I thought it was hilarious. I reverted to a save to avoid the DS/losing influence but it was nice seeing that side of her.

I didnt get DS points, I lost influence points, someting that you really cant afford to lose with her. Youll find it more difficult in the conversation when you dont have the right amount of influence to get her to talk with you.
