It is, and I understand it, but I just don't look at it as if it were right, IMO cutting your self is one of the most, stupidest things to do.

normally i would say something like, "do us a favor and cut the proper way!" but i have a female friend that im trying to convince not to, and something like that wouldnt help, so ive already made a deal with her about her cutting, she cuts and i find out, we dont get to go on our trip, but after that, i need some ideas
