Missing Power?

Post by Davja Eloma »

One of the powers that I think is missing is Force pull. At least I think that's what it was called in Jedi Academy. The one Vader used on Bespin to take Han's blaster from him.

Is that in the game? If so is it a DS power?

I don't recall any "Force Pull"-ish power being in the game at all.

Ok then, it's not something that was there and I missed. Heck I just thought of levitation as well. Guess they can't put it all in the game, even if those 2 figured rather prominantly in the movies. Something for KoTOR 3 if made.

Would be difficult placing levitation in a game which doens't have any z-axies :D
Heck - I'd settle for my character actually being able to step over a few centimeter high obstacle, instead of having to find another path, but I guess there are no way to step over things in a roleplayning game :D

That too, heck even the ability to jump up would be nice.

That's kinda why I'd like to see KOTOR III's combat mechanics completely redone. Maybe they could use the Jade Empire engine? I realize that that might make for too dramatic a change to the gameplay, but I still think he concept has merits. Like, for instance, the ability to jump...

Hold on there, that idea might be too revolutionary for computer games!

what would you call it? Jump-of-the-wall-and-come-down-on-your-opponents-power-attack? Then the next in the series! Improved-Jump-of-the-wall-and-come-down-on-your-opponents-power-attack! Lol. :D

Or cheap matrix ripoff. Kidding. I still like it. It would be nice to be able to have the 5 cm step up force power too. :p

naw, actually id call it the "yoyopogo attack" ...r u kidding? i dont know what to call it! and you would be more like a meter off the ground running along the wall 'til u attack ur opponent (which running on the wall would probably only last a few seconds, neways) :p anyhow, thanks 4 the support ;)
