Hail!! I was just wondering if anybody knows the story of Vecna or where i can find it.

I would guess you can find it in the "Deities and Demigods" Accessory book.
I know that Vecna is in that book but I don't know what is written about him.

That story is a clear case of the Wizard's First Rule. People will believe what you tell them because they want to believe what you say is true, or they are afraid what you say is true.
