How to Loot the dead body?????

Hi All,
I'm new here for ToEE. I got problem with LOOT the dead body. When I play the tutorial - if i want to loot the body, just simply click on the player and then right-click on the thing that you want to loot.

But in real game, i cant loot the body. Esp. after i killed the goblin near to the Church in Hommlet, I cant loot that goblin body to find the Black Jay's wife ring. Is it something wrong with my characters? I'm playing with 5 characters in my party ( barbians, fighter, rouge, cleric, wizard).

This is due to a conflict with directx9.0c, which came with service pack 2 for windows xp. There's a workaround: just press c to enter combat and loot that way.

There's also a fix for it: official patch 3.

The best thing to do, though, is to play the most stable basic version of the game: patch 2 with temple.zip. (If you do this, do not install patch 3). A quick search of this forum will tell you what you need to know regarding how to install these.
