I am in Australia i have version 1.2A I have downlaoded the 1.3 patch but there is an error message saying that there are no previous versions of dungeon lords installed, please install Dungeon Lords.
I was thinking that the poatch may be looking for the defualt install path on c: because i installe don d: but dont game patches read the registry key to find where the game is installed?
My Friend has the same problem. I also dont need a cd to run the game which is a bit odd. I havent crakced it either it is a clean install.
Any Ideas

I don't know what to tell you about the patch.. maybe Dungeon lord is right. The no-cd thing is normal though. Grand, ain't it? I don't know if it's part of the bugs that plague the game or if it's what the designers intended; but I wish more game designers/manufacturers would intentionally do this.

Alright I know exactly what you're going through. Removing, then reinstalling did absolutely nothing for me. What I ended up doing was moving all the files that are downloaded into a folder named something along the lines of Dungeon Lords Patch v1.3. Something like that. The files all went into that folder, instead of automatically going into the Games original files, replacing the old with the new.
What I did, was I opened the patch folder, then went to the specific file folder, opened it, highlighted all the contents, then went to the game's main file (IE, the one entitled Dungeon Lords... program files) then looked for a folder that matched the name in the Patch Folder. Moved all those contents to the Program Folder, in the correct folder.
Hell, I can barely understand what I mean. If i can figure out a better way to say it, ill edit. Sorry, hehe not at the top of my game atm. But if you can understand it, it should work if you do it. I had 1.2 default from buying the game and installing it the first time. I was just looking at the folders, and comparing folder contents, when I noticed some of the names in the patch folder were similar to that in the Program Files folder. So I basically just moved all the contents in the patch folder to the program files. Worked for me. The auto map was worth the risk for me i guess

You stare upon the perch,
The sight forces your somach's lurch.
The sight you see,
Is Death glaring back at thee.
You gave it a hum,
You let it run,
Now all you see,
Is the mirror that bleeds.
The sight forces your somach's lurch.
The sight you see,
Is Death glaring back at thee.
You gave it a hum,
You let it run,
Now all you see,
Is the mirror that bleeds.
