cant you only change atton after the twin sun attack

I've changed Atton before the Twin Sun attack, specifically so that I knew he would be a Jedi and easily handle those two. I've not had trouble with anyone in my last several games; no trouble with Mira, Atton, Bao-Dur, anyone.

You can't change Atton until you have met with the two Twileks in the Refugee Quad and they have told you that they know him from before. Directly after that conversation you can make him a Jedi if you have enough influence...

Or you might have saw two Twi'leks and thought about the Twin Suns. I've done stuff like that before. Since the Twin Suns are two Twi'leks, it's possible you just thought that.

just let me get this straight... you just have to get influence and talk to the people to make them jedi?
I didn't manage to convert a single npc in the whole game (LS Fem)... the only ones I had a chat with that went a little in this direction were Mira and desciple. well... maybe it didn't work because I didn't know that it is possible

I just realized that i was a single dialogue apart from making disciple a jedi... and atton, mira and bao-dur won't give me enough influence from there on to turn them into jedi. seems I've got to play it two times again... once for DS and making them all jedi and once for the proper LS-ending^^

Look for an influence guide by doing a search. There are several areas, but most are doing good deeds, stopping fights and making the right decisions in conversation. Also for repairing things, such as the swoop bike in the Serroco Compound in Nar Shaddaa. In these cases, do not bring Atton along. He tends to take influemnce situations to himself.

Also, watch out for when he says he wants to become a jedi, since he only asks once, and you may miss the opportunity if you miss it.
