Don't give me any rubbish about the HC being accessible. I wondered for a few days how I was going to integrate into here. It's been fine for anyone else thus far.

If anyone wants to join in, as far as I'm concerned they are more than welcome.

Most of you post long after I have gone and have done so for a long time.

Besides the HC has been going on long enough that people have stopped posting here, what are you expecting?

My problem, is with people posting, a copuple of words, and having a conversaton that way. Sure, as heathens we talked about things, but we said what we had to say, waited to hear several replies, then continued. Look, and you shall understand. Perhaps accesible was the wrong word. But it isn't fun, to have to look back through hundred+ posts, to find where you ended before, then carry on with a completely different, equally pointless conversation. So it is less accesible in that sense.

Yeah, that's just insulting. If the HC has limits then they should be clearly posted. I'm certainly NOT trying to scare anyone away. And I apologise to anyone who gets that impression.

Giles, shut up now until we find a real solution. Indeed, we're not trying to scare anyone. Well, we do try to scare people, but not in the sense of scaring them away.

I'm not against proper guidelines being set. Just don't get annoyed at people who aren't following your inage of what the HC should be.

I will get annoyed at what I see fit. I'm afraid.

If I posted some guidelines, would they be stuck to? I know I'm coming across as a fascist, (Not FAScist, though

) but I really would like to recapture the glory days. I'm not trying to get rid of you guys, just improve the thread, and indocrinate you, to the better way.

Didn't bother to read the last stuff, i stopped when the font became big and red

EDIT: I read the stuff about the glory days, me agrees, but what can one do eh? The citadel is a place for nice and comfortable conversation, although the most recent spam rampages have been over the top

I just had a nice long walk in the rain with a good friend of mine, those walks are nice, I can talk about everything. from cellphone problems, school, my recent disappointment when it comes to a certain female I asked out, up and downs in the past.. etc the list goes on..

Sometimes it is really nice and helpful to talk about things..

That's exactly how it comes across though. Like you're now selecting who is and who isn't good enough to be in the HC.

And that is frankly insulting.

@yeltsu you stepped in at a bad time.

the HC was designed as a thread to have fun and to spam without many rules or guidelines. It should stay that way.

I agree. I know what you mean that the recent spam has been a bit excessive, but I feel that you're perhaps overthinking this.

Perhaps someone should start a new thread? But you would still end up with the same problem in the HC of two people wanting to talk. Which is only fair.

I apologise. Ik will agree, in our conversation (on msn, take note) we were discussing how to get a strong point across, without ostrasizing anyone. I apologise.

I agree, that the citadel should be fun, but there comes a point, where spam, and off topic stops, and people are just chatting, and at the end of the day, this is a message board, not a chat room.

Also, I'm not trying to set rules, saying this is what must be done, but if I draft guidelines, I'm sure they would be understood, and approved by the heathens who left as the citadel changed. While I understand you came to the citadel, largely in the state it is in now, I feel change should be embraced, even if it a change back
