I left the shadow dungeon in the middle (thought I would try to find a fire crystal thingy...) anyway, once you leave a dungeon you cannot go back in!
I guess it is stay the course or else! (as a note, I left the various mines and caves in Dungeon Seige many times when I needed more supplies...)
I listened to you all, and I was able to load an earlier save (still in the middle of the shadow dungeon) and I was able to play through (never thought I would kill that Nauseatus(?) guy...
ps my resurrect scrolls seem to get me going without losing any attribute points - so I sold one to the "Argus" guy and then bought 20 back! ; )
now I am off to kick some druid a$$ !!!

hehe, the rez scroll thing is nice. You don't lose the attribute points if you have a rez loaded an ready to go... but you do lose any and all banked Advancement points wether you use rez or not. This can be a pain when you are trying to save up 2 million+ points to raise an ability 1 rank. The only way to avoid losing the points is to spend em while you are laying dead on the ground before you use a rez scroll or your rez stone... if you don't have a rez, you lose all points banked (no matter if you spend em before you get up, the game will remove what you spent em on) and take an attribute hit
