finding the boy's mother(circus)

Wonder if anyone could tell me what I am doing wronghere. Killed the Gnome Illusionist in the circus tent but when i talk to the boy outside the tent he still ask him to find his mother even though iI have already saved her! My quest journal indicates that i have to save her, what I am doing Wrong here?

She should be in the tent still. Make sure you talk to everyone in the tent. Did you talk to her before you killed the Gnome? I don't now if that makes any difference.

Hex92, i did talk to her and infact in detail, after i killed the gnome, iI got out of the tent to talk to the boy and I get the impression that the boy still can't locate his Mama!

I don't know what to tell you then. I seem to remember talking to her after I killed the gnome. She said thanks I got some experience and she walked out of the tent. Then I walked out talked to the kid and got some more experience. And that was the end of the quest.
Standard question: Have you applied the patch? I don't know if that was one of the issues fixed tho....

I sound like you have already done what is needed for freeing his mom. She is still tied up in the Northwest end of the tent. Talk to the boy then go back in and talk to the mom she will then leave the tent you go back out and talk to the boy end of story. You will receive 2,500 exp. or something like so it's not the end of the world (I know how irritating it is to have an unsolved quest in the journal though) and remember to talk to the guard outside the tent there is one reputation point to be gained
