Hi all, I just need a bit of advice.
Currently I am stuck in the pillar room. Elder Kyusho is no more and I have activated both of the pressure plates to lower the columns.
Trouble is, that try as I might I cannot seem to make the jump to the lowered column to make my way out to continue on to the next trial.
What gives. It doesn't seem to matter where I place my character to begin the jump, (even 'in the air'). I am holding the jump key so that I will grab the edge and climb. No matter what the jump always seems to fall short.
Any ideas or suggestions, will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Trial of the Elders, advice please.

Persistance has payed off.
Hi once again.
It would seem that it was merely a question of technique or lack thereof on my part.
I know that effectively I am responding to my own post, but I hope that this can help others in the same or similar situations.
What worked in the end was a 'running jump'.
1. position the character as far as possible away from the destination, (not much room on the top of a column).
2. press the forward key
3. press the jump key at the last possible moment, (tricky to judge while running in mid air).
4. then release the forward key while holding the jump key, (to grab and climb).
There you have it, timing is key, (pun intended).
Cheers.
