Three missing swords?
Albruin +1 (bastard sword), Shazellim +1 (Scimitar) and Taragarth +1 (bastard sword) are three swords I just can´t find in the game, but is supposed to be there in Shadowkeeper. They can´t be in BG1 because the profiency types are in BG2 type. Any idea what they are and why they are in shadowkeeper? For example Shazellim is a Harper-slayer, that would be cool to have during the harper-hold quest.
I wager the turnip market is making a killing today!

for those that dont know
Scimitar +1, Shazzellim
This scimitar is of rather poor quality but beneath its surface lies great power and evil. Created for the sole purpose of slaying Harpers, Shazzellim is more than capable of that task. With one strike of the blade a bard must make a saving throw vs. spells or die. Crafted by a Red Wizard of Thay, the sword also has the ability to vocalize, which is why it was often given to fighter-mages in the service of the Wizards. Needless to say, possession of this sword would not be looked upon very highly by Harpers.

In the underdark at the soul gem, when you release Raevilin Strathi (the one behind door #2 that says uhhhhh, uhhhhhh, and uhhhhh) cast a Heal on him-apparently he's a little crazy after being stuck in the gem. One round after he goes hostile the heal kicks in-this is right AFTER he casts Imprison on whoever triggered the dialogue so have good defenses ready-and he gets his senses back, has a short conversation and gives you the sword. You also get 15,000 XP for the whole thing. I'm pretty sure you get 20,000 for killing him so it isn't worth it.
Sorry the image looks bad. I had to go mononchrome for size.

Neither Shazellim nor Taragarth are in the game- I don't know about Elhan wielding two of them but as you can't get them off him it's academic anyway. I think that they were perhaps intended as parts of or rewards for quests that got cut from the final game. Either way, there is actually a mod that restores all missing weapons to the game which I believe I got from Wes Weimer's site.

Just talked to Ned Flanders and found out that Taragarth(?) is ONLY activated if you use the Unfinished Business mod, and is worth getting. Unfinished Business IS all in the game- a bunch of stuff that wasn't integrated due to bugs and time constraints and for some reason wasn't included in any patches. Shazzelim might be hard to find for the same reason.

That's it, and it's available at the Pocket Plane Group not Wes Weiemr's site as I said before.

Taragarth is a nice weapon. Definitely worth keeping and the path to getting it is a cool little plot unlocked with unfinished business (I won't provide details as I didn't know them myself until I obtained the blade - the whole point of installing unfinished business is the surprise additions you find in the game).
I actually got albruin during a previous run years back. Don't remember if it was from picking 'what's his name' pocket or from healing the moaning lout out of blind luck. Either way, I didn't keep it and think I left it stuck in a myconid. The innate pro poison just didn't stack up to the countless antidotes spread throughout the party.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.
Mouseover for the location ***SPOILER***
Was looking for something else and found this at pocket plane
"Q: What items have been restored with this mod?[UB]
...
Shazzellim, Scimitar +1
...
Taragarth, Bastard Sword +1
...
Q: Where can I find the Restored Items?
...
Shazzellim, Scimitar +1: In the home of Prebek-a notable Zhent-in the Docks District..."
That's where I found it, not Elhan.
