Can I call you "old guys" now?

Post by EternalKnight »

I was reading the old fart string, trying because when I post messages I always ask advice from the old guys (meaning people who have played the game longer). I read the post on the advice of a member who saw the "old guys" part that I put in my messages. In reading that post I find that just about everyone here is older than me. I'm a 16 year old high school junior (going to college next year, God willing). So technically, you guys are older than me, except about 3 other guys who are younger. Do you guys really mind?

why should the older ones among us mind a young-un like yourself asking questons? As they say, the older the wiser... ;-)

Don't worry. You're not the youngest. I'm only 15 :-)

I think most people playing BG2 are between 14 and 24. So that's okay.
I myself am 16 and sometimes I think all these guys are rookies. Then again, the 'oldies' might think I'm a rookie! I'll take 'em on anytime!

Is the 'junior member' gone yet?

All of you young ones pale by comparison to those of us at the ripe old age of 23. (insert maniacal laugh here).

I feel better than I'm not the youngest. Thanks! Question to all you more experienced people, how do I become a member and not a junior member?

Shouldn't you use the Old Fart topic for this nonsense? Yes, that was me making that suggestion. From my prespective, you are still young, Flinfman, and I'm old ... so old, the years are starting to wear on me ... on the other hand, compared to Weasel for instance, I just come looking ... what's the cow got to do anything with it? Let me guess as well, you had snow and cold, even in the heart of summer?

Okay, fairly compact, dense, and something for everyone. Just pick out what applies to you and ignore the rest.

(It does look kinda garbled, doesn't it? Well, it is! Image Image)

Not to undermine you older people, but when you guys were my age I doubt you had to put up with what I had to put up with, or do the things I had to do. (How this pertains to BGII, I know not.)

Of course it was through huge snow drifts in the middle of summer... we hadn't even gotten to what he had to go through in the dead of winter. Image And I forget Maurice, that dang memory of mine slipping again, why exactly am I so young in age but old at heart by comparison to your wizened person?

Personally i don't give a damn thing about the phrase "old guys". But from i see of your posting, EternalKnight i knew that your English is not your primary language. And may i remind you that your nick came from some cheap vampire TV series.
The way you try to do is like making gap between us.....so quit these nonsense.
Perhaps Minsc will help ya see things more clearly Image
