2010? Yeah, that's a good episode. That's Season 4, I think.
I like the one with the black hole. A Matter of Time.
I remember the titles because I have loads on DVDs. I watch too much Stargate
Yes, that black hole episode was also interesting.
You have DVDs? I've tried to find those, but no luck. I'm getting worried that those aren't sold here in Finland
You favourite characterfrom SG-1?

Yes, O'Neill, and especially when he is talking with Carter
O'Neill: "Does it work?"
Carter:"In theory, if we but this synthetisator to thi power source and..."
O'Neill: "STOP! I asked, does it work?"

I posted some good O'Neill quotes in the Scattered Embers: Pub thread:
The O'Neill classic : "Ya think!!!"
Disarming a bomb on an asteroid heading to Earth with a few seconds on the clock:
"You know, I would like to take this opportunity to say that I think this a poorly designed bomb and I think we should say something to someone when we get back".
Yes, that bomb thing, it has been in several episodes, right?
And from that dialogue which I posted, came to my mind the episode where they got contact to other world, where also was SG-1, and Carter and someone else came to their world from there. It was quite fun situation where both Carters are talking about some machine and how to get it work, and O'Neill is trying to understand them

I think that bomb was even more powerful than the usual ones, normally it's naquadah generators rigged to overload. No one knows how to generate power anymore...
The one in 'Failsafe' the asteroid episode was supposed to be the equivalent of 1 billion tons of TNT, I think. Though having to disarm the bomb manually seemed a little over the top, even for SG-1.
That's also a good episode, with the Carter and Kawalsky from a different quantum reality?
Then you have the whole 2 Carter's thing in Season 8 with a Carter replicator working with the real Carter in 'Gemini'. Wonder how they do that kind of effect.... it's good

Nice sig . I'll have to write more down for you .
At the beginning of Season 8, Fifth - the human-form replicator, creates a copy of Carter. And a weapon is created that can destroy the human-form replicators.
The Carter copy, contacts the SGC saying she wants to be destroyed and human Carter wants to get intelligence from her. Replicator Carter gradually gets the trust of the humans and finds out how the weapon works saying that Fifth and the other Replicators developed an immunity. Then she creates an immunity for herself betrays the humans and Fifth (who aren't actually immune to the anti-Replicator weapon).
Spoiled the plot enough?

Have you seen the first SG movie? I mean the one where are different actors than in serie?

The Stargate film? With Kurt Russell? Yes, I have. I bought it some time after accidentally seeing the first episode of SG-1.
It was good. Directed by the same person who directed Independence Day, Godzilla and The Day After Tomorrow.
