weilding the multiple of the same rings
i know this had been addressed earlier in the forum but not this exact question, which is. When it comes to rings is there anyway to equip the EXACT SAME ring. Like equip 2 or more rings of fire, because all my extras go into the junk catagory

All extras of everything go to junk tab (not counting stackable items like potions) and the only way to get them to the equip tab is to drop the original, which doesn't really help since it will then go to the "junk" tab when you pick it up if you have equipped the other. So no, you can't use duplicates of anything that is equippable, sadly.

You can wear multiples of the same ring if you are using patch 1.3.
I have done it. You have to have one equipped before acquiring the
second one so that the second one shows up on your equipment tab.
The game seems to keep updating your equipment tab with more valuable
items when you pick them up. I would think that the ring of the flame is
more valuable than most of the other things you pick up so it should end
up showing up in your inventory. The only thing you have to do is have
an open ring slot so you can equip it in that open ring slot.
This works for some reason with patch 1.3 where I couldn't get it to
work when I was running my freshly bought v1.0.

I think you are mistaken. There are 3 different flame rings: Burning Ring, Infernal Ring and Ring of the Flame. I guess you could wear all three but you can't wear 2 Burning Rings or 2 Infernal Rings etc. It also doesn't matter if you have an item equipped on not, if you have one the next one you find goes in to your junk menu. Please check me on this but, I'm sure this is the case. D

Hi ferncliff, thanks for the response.
I know I did it and I thought it was with patch 1.3 but I will check it again
just to be sure. The ring 'Devil's Ring' pops up alot so I can try it with that
ring or I could hack in two copies of the same ring on being equipped and
the replacing something in my inventory like a goblin sword or something.
I will check on this and post what I find.

Wearing 2 Rings that are the same. No can do.

I did the test and I can no longer wear two rings of the same type. I went
and visited Rianna the Wiccan because I know I had sold her a Devil's Ring
earlier. I found another one in the loot after a big battle in Talendor so I
ran over to her place to check it out.
The first couple of attempts I could equip two identical Devil's Rings. I sold
one back to her and bought it again and still could equip it so I sold it back
to her and then saved and exitted the game.
I reloaded bought the second ring and it ended up in with my junk. I tried
everything I could to equip the second copy of that ring but I could not
do it. I am wondering if there isn't an occasional bug in the game as that
was the second ring that I could equip two identical copies of the same
ring.
I stand corrected and we can most likely put this issue to rest.
