They probably do that quite a lot at my uni. too. The unis. just blame the student if they fail. All they really care about is getting their fees. :p
Sounds like any university. They want your money. You fail, you pay them again to do it again next year. Un fortunately for me, one of the people who taught me was illiterate in english, so he spoke mandarin most of the time instead. A lot fo us dated chinese people for a while to get there notes. :p

And by the way, I like heavy metal.

We don't pay any student fees
But we have to join to student organisation if we are going to study, but unis itself won't get any benefit from that

*nods* It's the whole Equal Opportunities policies that lead to that kind of thing. You end up with Greek tutors that have no clue about the module and you can't understand half of what they say anyway  :p

That's good. We just have to pay for unis. Grants from the Local Education Authorities that we don't pay back and loans that definitely do, though you have to earn £15,000 a year before it starts I think.

Definitely. Though mostly it isn't too bad. The lectures and lecturers are fine at least (for the most part anyway :p ). Just the tutorials after the lectures  . Those can be bad.

In the end, you'll end up answering to heavy metal instead of your God if you do something wrong :p
