22:00 here. As for the reason? Like Southend Council needs a reason to fritter away loads of money on random fireworks displays.

How long did that last. It was pointless.

There council members. they have tons of money in their pockets, so now they can fritter away money on other things.

The thread probably lasted a long time. The bump got it closed.

The council probably get a load of money to spend before a certain date then they think Hmm, what shall we spend it on? A new orphanage, transport improvements or a firework display every Saturday?

Tough decision...

Obviously not. Look at the wonderful firework display which will make all the homeless children happy and the people walking home smile. Multiple purposes!

LOL!

That and the Red Arrows every May. They're fancy planes that fly over the town doing tricks with different colour smoke coming form their tailpipes (planes have tailpipes I think).

Like the fireworks, after 5-10 times, they become loud and annoying. Not to mention boring.

you one of those people who say stop with those damn light, pull down the curtains and huff about it for the next week?

We used to have the snowbirds. then the governments told them to stop blowing up and dying, so I dnt know if we still have them or not...but they were really cool. Pulled off all sorts of neat stunts.

Probably.

It's nice for people out of town, but don't you get fed up of seeing and hearing something after 8 years or so?

Ah. The British ones are better. Less crashing and dying.

YA, I doubt it too, not unless some of those easterners get spamming. They usually come on about, oh, 1 your time.

Weve been spamming for five hours? And weve only gotten this far? Kinda pathetic. the other forum Im on Ive been spamming for five hours while at work and have gotten over 300 posts done.
