Why must everyone try to stay up for as long as they can?

Haven't bothered myself. No reason so far.

error #132.. reason: anything you can imagine..

not really just one reason.. could be RAM, hard-drive, soundcard, drivers, dust in your comp, you name it, error#132 has it

no not a windows error, WoW error

strange thing every other game works fine.. but this one.. such a hazzle..

yeah my hard drive is shot to hell i tried defragging and it said there's 5000 defragments in just WoW files..

i got smth like 4000defrags in one other game and although it works, it has smth that just doesn't work.. like it doesn't exist, although it should.. so i blame the hard-drive.. and i bought more RAM just in case

Maybe a re-format of the HD then?

A bit extreme but a clean sweep is generally a good policy... :p

well it doesn't take care of the fragments.. i tried to defrag but i believe it didn't work.. i couldn't even do it so that it doesn't store information on the damaged parts. i tried installing on different driver but that didn't help since it reported an error while dloading an update..

I've had that kind of problem witha hard disk before :( .

Use a program like Partition Magic to split it up and take out all the damaged fragments. Leave the damaged parts without a name or partition so they are ignored by Windows.

A re-format would wipe all the data off the hard drive. Any parts that are still damaged, leave out of the partitions.

The best solution would be a new hard drive though :(

I'm turning this into a tech. forum :p  . Don't really mind though for tonight.

I know how to fix it. Take a crowbar to it. *nods* You'll feel better after a 5 minute workout with the crowbar.

*grin* I can't help it. A long time ago my mind found a very cozy home in the gutter, and it rarely leaves except for very brief sojourns :p

I'm the same way. I cherish those moments of marginal purity. Unfortunately those are the same moments my shy female friends tend to break out of their shell and say the dirtiest, filthiest comments I've ever heard and grin at me when I tell them they ruined it. :(

I agree, but only if you're going to replace it anyway. :p

Dropping stuff out of high-storey buildings is good too :D .

I wonder what the effect of a pressure washer vs. HD would be... :D

I can't even replace my old hard drive. Not gonna happen. :( Pressure washer would win, hands down. :p
