Library theft

Sometimes, unused books disappear from my inventory. Say I have picked up the books in the S o Leopold mission, but not able to use them due to scholarship requirements, when I have boosted my brainpower, they are no longer in my inventory!

anybody else had this?

it is usually the firearms or dodge II books that disappear.

Perhaps a Nossie stole it?

Its most likey a bug... have you installed 1.2? If so, try 1.7 unoffical patch... it might work for some

That's really weird. Never happened to me before. Once I thought it did, but then I remembered I sold it... Anyway, I wish there was some way I could help, but my best advice would be to patch up (even though patches are sometimes more trouble than they're worth).

Agreed, Books have disappeared in my games, too.

No idea why or how to avoid it.

Item disappearing from inventory

I carried books throughout most of the game, then noticed that I had two copies of one book, as if one of the dodge books turned into an information book. Also one time one book completely diappeared after a fight I had in the hallowbrook hell part of the game; when there is a guy on the bridge throwing some sort of fire bombs at you. I never found a way to stop it happening. The only advice I can give you is to put all books in your haven. I have noticed something similar with an item given to you by the flesh eating monster which u feed on to get blood. Hope this helps
