Nope, he dies when you walk in, but his heart isn't there.
I was so shocked on that first play through... I'd always harboured secret hopes for Yoshi and my character ;) wouldn't that be an interesting (if necessarily short) romance mod?

And I'm going with general opinion on Nalia, she and Imoen are the same class, except Imoen's a better Theif. If you go to Spellhold late, though, and Imoen's level is lower, she can be a real encumbrance. This play through was the first time I ever left her in Spellhold, I felt so guilty![/QUOTE]

That could be an interesting mod... Maybe that would stop him from betraying you, but he cannot resist Irenicus since he has the Geia(?) over him... So Irenicus kills him/he takes his life, in silence, but he promises you that he's just going away for a while? ;o Aah, no. I'm so not capable of doing mods. Whatever.

Um, if you don't pick up Immy, doesn't she find her own way out?

Maybe you could take his body to a powerful ally who could reverse the spell on him. Then resurrect and continue a romance...

With the Aerie/ Anomen duplication, I would say they fit more than one role as Imoen/Nalia mainly do. Aerie is also a mage albeit a slowly levelling one (unless you play a dual game perhaps) and Anomen is a capable fighter on the frontline.

Yeah she does, but I felt bad anyway :)
You could take his heart to the statue in the Temple Ruins where you have to take Bodhi's, and get him resurrected....
