SYM ey??? i should think about it cuz i talk to much lol... does that annoy u???
It does when these threads are to be on-topic, then there is little to no room for "chit-chat", which is what Speak Your Mind forum was created for.
So if you wish to talk about things these threads aren't about, then SYM is the place to go. For instance - all this chatter, should not really be in this thread at all, because it has no relevance for the topic - thus it is "off-topic" and viewed as spam in the concept of this thread. The only reason I'm letting it be here, is because it is rather important concept to understand on GameBanshee, and you are a new poster. Otherwise, these off-topic posts would have been removed a long time ago. All other off-topic posts after this one will, however, be removed!
Back on topic, please.

Im not sure if many people are going to use two shorts. I dont think that they are supposed to be used alone... I gave one to Kreia, and she was defeated in seconds, even though her constitution and defence were btter than the typical kreia charatcer.

Definitely one standard, one short, and what color depends on my mood. Make sure you have master 2-weapon fighting, and you have no penalty to hit for the standard saber, -2 to hit for the off-hand shorty.
With a double-blade, you have less chance to hit than you do with your main-hand using a standard saber, and you do less damage than if you hit with both your sabers using the combo (though more than with a single standard).
If you want to put your feats in other places, then a double-blade would probably be the way to go.
It makes no sense at all to use two standard sabers, though.

Hes not the only one who does it, Sion. I like it because of the damage you can do with a double baleded lightsaber.
Anyways, its all opinions, so truly no ones preference is better than the others...

Two single bladed Segan Wyndh Sabers, these are way cool, they are extra long sabers like Malak's saber... you can get it from the USM (Ultimate Saber Mod) from pcgamemods.com:
http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/13275.html
there are many, many other cool sabers included in the mod as well...

Quit Making Fun Of Me
I normally go with two singles both red sometimes i go with one red single if i feel like watching some reall neat-o combat
or if im playing on KOTOR I then i equip the sith body armor (therres a glitch to keep it after taris) and a single red and a single blue and run around manaan pressing "y" (it makes you swing ignite you blade and swing it around alil ive heard it called "flourish" but my I.B. brain is asleep when not at school) pretending im a cop. I never really matured past the age of 7 i just think i did.

As told by some of "strategy guides", using two sabres gets you more "penalties" during attacks. Have no clue why, but for my first try I went for double bladed saber. And for long time was not able to find my favorite colour. But got it somehwere before (or on Ravenger). I fought with silver blades.
It could see the fighting effects better than with other coulours i.e. red and blue really suck - you cannot see much of the damage/save you do.
Or my video cars SUCKS?

I've always been darkside, so I always go with my crazy twin saber-ing madness. My best combo(though not always the one I get) is the red rith-crystal saber by Alora, and the purple Class C saber- you know, like Dooku's (both of these are are also part of USM). And as for penalties, there was this one time I accidentally got a higher attack bonus in the offhand
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.
If you've got the feeling, Jump across the ceiling.

It could be that the penalties people think of is the "balanced" issue.
When fighting with 2-bladed sabre, the offhand is - as far as I recall - considered balanced, thus it gets the 0/+2, similar to using a short sabre in offhand when dualwielding.
If using 2 ordinary sabres, you get the -2 off hand penalty due to the weapon not being balanced.

Well, since I am definitely NOT native English, I had some difficulties with understanding what is meant by "off-hand". I get is as "the second hand" but I can imagine, that being a lightsaber user, especially two-handed (if you are so gifted warrior: Jedi or Sith) makes you enough skilled to use both hands with same effectiveness.
But I might B wrong, obviously.
