Icewind Dale 2 (Dragons Eye Level 1) Help Needed

The floor has fallen in to the bottom small room but the Mandrake Root is not down there. Any hints! Alos the skeleton of the fallen buddy of the giy in the prision is not east of the Temple. Is there a patch or something?

I can't remember it entirely but maybe you need to get the modified mandrake root first. Go to a laboratory on the third floor with tables and a lab technician. Intimidate hiim or use your high alchemy skill (to pull lever in other room) to make root.

It should show a cut scene where the location of the mandrake root is revealed. Then it WILL be where the giant or ancient or whatever wyvern was.

its coming back to me now...

get the modified root. THEN go to the dead body of the man. Then it shows the cutscene.
