I voted for night elves because i like elves.I am an alf in every other game,if i can, that is.Also it is good that their building can move and attack and Illidan is my favorite charecter. The invisibility at night shouldn`t be underestimated either.
Unfortunately, True sight made it too difficult to use the Shadowmeld ability that well. You cant sit outside a base and wait because most bases have towers and ghouls which can see you.
If it werent for that fact, the nightelves would be first. Unfortunately, they are not, and the orcs won me out with the fact that they do damage, even if its only the buildings left, and you can pillage to get gold.

wen i forst played warcraft, well i was a little kid... and little kids like 2 be big kids! so i was orc crazy! but it all got boring as brute force tends 2 get a lil tedious...
now i am 100% elvish! i find the hit and run guerilla tactics (that as an orc player used 2 infuriate me) highly satisfying... like a bubbling brook slowly wearing away the hardest of rocks.. the forces of good- KICK ASS!!!!

Its been a long while since I've touched Warcraft 3 and its expansion pack, the Frozen Throne but in my opinion, I prefer humans since they're pretty balanced and quite lethal too.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
Got W3 only recently, and it has been so long when I played W2 last time that I was only able to form good opinion now...
I had actually quite hard time to choose between undeads and orcs. Undeads have those awesome spellcasters which are able to summon two skeletons from one corpse. With group of those spellcasters and few melee units which makes the first kill and you have an massacre going there...
On the other hand, orcs have better feeling. It somehow brings me back those good memories when I played W2 first time... Also, orcs have few units which I like, and especially the heroes are cool..
Eventually, I ended on choosing undeads, mostly because of their units.
