It does make sense...but I dont know how the forums are picked... wish I knew. I thought that GB was RPG based, though... and I don't think that MMOs are really easy to work with...

Guild Wars does have a large following though... I should know, enough of my friends have told me about guild wars that I myself am slowly becoming an expert. :p

This may be a little off topic, but how are forums chosen anyways?

Forums are chosen by Buck Satan....

But as I've personally said in the past, then I fail to see the need for a Guild Wars forum for a number reasons.
#1: MMOGs aren't normally big on GameBanshee. Take a look at the traffic of the all the other MMOG forums, both "named" and the general. And they aren't big due to my next point.
#2: MMOGs usually due to their community-style have a few dedicated forums, some often semi-official. And totally unlike most "normal" multiplayer games and single player games people are more gathered in clusters then spread out over many Internet forums when it comes to MMOG. You go "where the people are", even if you dislike the forum.
#3: The traffic for Guild Wars on this forum so far has been very very limited - perhaps it would be bigger if a dedicated forum was created, but the couple of actual threads (not counting reuqest for GW forums) in my personal view does not seem to show that a GW forum would get any utilization.
#4: Also most of the forums of this board is also due to the games are covered on the site, with walkthroughs etc. MMOGs are huge work to cover.

And so on

Of course- in the end it is all up to Buck Satan, but imo it is't a matter of "If you build it they will come" - because as it is seen quite clearly with both DAoC and the WOW forum - it isn't the case. Both of these games have a massive following, and the traffic is very limited. And I "know" that the same would be the case for GW.
