Unseeing eye

I'm starting to feel like i'm really really stupid because i'm asking so many questions but:

I'm doing the unseeing eye quest and am up to the point where i just got the second half of the rod. I waited for the unseeing eye to appear but it hasn't yet. I think i messed it up because i rested before going to fight the unseeing eye. I was thinking that if i found the CLUA console for the two halves of the rod, i could use it to try and make the game spawn another unseeing eye. Would this work? If so anyone know the CLUA console? Any other ways of solving it?

The Eye doesn't appear after you get the second half of the rod. You have to find him. Did you speak with the guard near the secret underground entrance, that leads passed all the lower level undead, and then into the catacombs?

Yes i did talk to Tad. I have the completed rod but can't find the unseeing eye anywhere.

Have you searched well the beholder tunnels?

A little off-topic:
I remmeber when I went to the cult in one of my games, I said something and everybody started to attack me. I killed them all and then the unseen eye appeard. I killed it too without loosing any hit point... But in my second game, when I went with the rod to it's lair, I almost lost some party members!

Just look at all the tunnels again and no unseeing eye.

IIRC there is a cavern on the Eastern wall of the Beholder Tunnels.

It was as I left this room I was attacked by the Unseeing Eye, every time

It happens as soon as you assemble the rift device - he will appear somewhere close by.

this sequence always worked for me.

see graal, get key.

drop down to avatar, get first hald.

go back up , talk to tad, go down pit

assemble, unseeing eye shows up, kill.

It happened to me once that Unseeing Eye did´nt wan´t to show up after a quick-save even with the rod assembled. To make him appear then, simply attack the cult-members about where Gaahls at

I messed around with CLUA console again and managed to find out the one for the two halves of the rod. It assembled it for the second time and the unseeing eye finally made its appearance.

@Shadowwarrior-I quicksaved as well. Guess thats what messed it up.

Try CLUA-ing in "BHEYE" himself...
