Mallopi (Spoiler, sorta... I guess...)

Post by unregisturd »

I can't find the stupid cave/tomb of Mallopi. However you spell it. I'm trying to do the debt money quest for the Fighter's Guild, (the one you get from the Orc in Vivec to get the lady's money who's in Ald R'uhn in The Rat in the Pot.) I need help. I looked for it online and it simply said, "Northeast of Gnaar Mok." Any more specific directions? I been searching for a while...

Thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that a Cammona Tong quest? If so I'd speak to the Ald'Ruhn guild master.

Consider yourself corrected. :D I'm sure it's a Fighter's Guild quest... If it's not, then I somehow joined the Commona Tong (is that even possible?) and ended doing their quests thinking them to be Fighter's Guild. No, I'm sure it's Fighter's Guild. I got it from the Orc in Vivec.

Mallapi

Just keep referring to your large map and head NE of Gnaar Mok. The mountainous terrain makes it difficult but there is a way to get there. Its almost due east of Ilunibi, Carcass of the Saint, south of Talvayn ancestral tomb, and pretty much due west of Sjorvar Horse-Mouth's house (the Blade trainer with the guar herd). I think it can be found by first heading north from Gnaar Mok towards Khartag Point and then head east into the hills. It's not really essential that you find it or the body of the dead guy. I think Dark Master was confused by the fact that the dead guy owed money to the Commona Tong. Once you've talked to the sister and Percius Mercius about it you can go back to the orc in Vivic and just pay the money yourself. The Mallapi caves have some loot, the big payoff being the daedric weapons of the monsters in the cave. Even if you find the brother's body, the sister has no dialog concerning it if you go back afterwards. By the way, make sure you talk to Percius Mercius, head of the Ald'ruhn fighters guild, about all these other fighter's guild quests - he may have some insight for you on them that can be quite enlightening. Good luck in your search.

You're being taken for a ride my friend. Spoiler:

The fighters guild is the Cammona Tong puppet. You're being used by the Orc in Vivec. Speak to the Ald'Ruhn guild master. He'll fill you in. Ever wondered why some of your quests seem so unreasonable? The Orc in Balmora? What had she done wrong? Ah, the guild conscience. You're being used.

Bit of a spoiler

Why you think you got to kill this guy in the end? If you are doing as told by Percius Mercius.

Wait a minute, people! I know that the "Fighters Guild is the Commona Tong's puppet," but since I did all the Theives Guild quests, it exposed them and the leaders so now I don't have to worry about that. I never had to kill the Orc lady in Balmora, I never had to get the code book from Sotilde in Balmora, and I never had to go to the Caldera Mining Company and kill those people... Though, I'm not really sure why I didn't have to do the last one... I dunno. I ended up killing them anyway because they attacked me when I went in the cave. (I didn't kill the archer dude, though. He was nice to me and didn't attack me.)

And I found Mallopi...

I haven't played through the fighters guild since I discovered that you could talk to Ald Ruhn's guildmaster, so I'm not sure which quests are evil. But just reading 'DEBT MONEY' sparked off alarms in my head.

I've killed a few debtors in my day... But they were mean to me when I talked to them, so they deserved it. The ones that didn't have the money, I just paid for. I'm a nice Elf. :D

Its hard to play a nasty character I think, you can play a mean one, or a disinterested one, but actually playing an evil one is impossible since most of the fun comes from working for guilds... sigh.

Do you know where the Mallapi cave is in relation to Drulene Falen's hut?

Thanks!
