Ah, main quest? :p
No but seriously, the pilgrimage quest was pretty tough, lots of searching and puzzling. :cool:
Do you need a silencer if you're gonna shoot a mime?

I tend to find the escort quests difficult. Your escortee often can't keep up, and he/she certainly can't levitate over obstacles. And, most importantly, it can be quite difficult to keep them alive, especially since they have the habit of rushing into battle with useless equipment :rolleyes: They don't just risk death from the enemy, but also from your weapon, which is why I only use a bow while escorting somebody, since it reduces the chances of accidently hitting them. :rolleyes:

There are some very good resources for dealing with that problem. Check out the Morrowind Yellowpages sticky at the top of this forum page.

Yea I know, but considering you dont use a walkthrough and just try to find something, while only information you have is like: "It's on an island far to the north" or something like that... well... good luck... :D

@Janek,
I'm not suggesting a walkthrough; there is a very nice downloadable map you can use; I posted the link in one of my more recent contributions to that thread.

Spoiler>>>

Another difficult quest can be where you have to retrieve a totem for the Skaal in the Bloodmoon expansion. You end up in a tomb full of werewolves, and they mob you as soon as you enter; if you aren't prepared you can fall very quickly.
I resorted to my tried and true... sneaking and picking them off individually with a bow.

First time thru the game, had to be Boethiah' skull - an extended exercise in futility & drowning. Being too low level/broke & too stupid to know where/how to get the goods to make it a little easier didn't help any.
