Favourite Deus Ex Ending (SPOILERS)
Favourite Deus Ex Ending (SPOILERS)
Four years after its release, I've finally beaten Deus Ex! I felt that it had a lot of depth and the gameplay mechanics (mixing all sorts of genres) were really good. I also loved the way it offers three pretty diverse endings and I was wondering what the GB population felt about the various endings.

I chose to merge with Helios as I didn't exactly feel comfortable with handing power over to Everett, Dowd, and the Illumnati. Taking global communication away from the world didn't seem like that great a solution either.

Deus Ex is a really good game, and deserves a few runs through it where ones tries different strategies.
First time I played through, I choose the ending where I destoryed everything - seemed most fitting to "me", and it was in character with the way I played through the game.
Then I reloaded and tried the other two endings - and most say that the ending with destroying everything is/was most to my likeing out of the three

i liked the merge with the comp...
it seemed like following the story in wich Denton, beginning to be the "lone rider" against all odds in one point of the game, should end as something unique, not obliged to do what any faction said.
and i hoped they would include that in the sequel....

Finding the world in the smallnes of the grain of sand
And holding infinities in the palm of your hand
And Heaven's realms in the seedling of this tiny flower
And eternities in the space of a single hour.

Lesson of the Day:
Making up with someone after a nasty argument can be all sorts of fun, but leave you ridiculously sore and in need of bandages. Remember, band-aids are a kinky man's best friend late at night.

Merging with helios was my favourite. After finishing the game from beginning to end about 3 or 4 times and each time it was a different strategy. I love the game and the only fault with it at the moment is the fact that the graphics are slightly dated, other than that there is not a single flaw in the game.
Also, the ending movie for the merge with Helios was my favourite. Can you just imagine the power.
