(SPOILER) Lost items after society of leopold

Post by Antagonist »

Okay I had the leopold bug and after fooling with the console I was able to skip the final bit.
I spawned in front of the la Croix building but couldn't move, when trying to noclip my way out the game crashed.
I restarted and tried again a few times and luckily I could move again.
Upon inspecting my inventory I noticed that I lost ALL my items.

My question, should I continue the game without my items, or are there at this point quest items required for advancing into the game?

Also, is it possible to spawn cash with a cheat ?
I lost my carefully preserved items and weapons and noticed Fat Larry has some laying around.

Ah first problem.... No lockpicks
Okay I cheated *sigh* to get my picks back, and I also spawned my wallet, keys and armor.
Bought a mediocre hand to hand weapon and will start acquiring items all over again.

Small problem, how do I spawn money ?
I feel justified to spawn 1000 dollar to rebuild my char a bit, though it does make me feel bad. I will just convince myself that I have an excellent LaCroix Insurance.

How do I spawn money, give money 1000 doesn't work and neither does money "1000"

Does me spawning stuff influence the outcome of the game ?
Will I be branded a cheater ?

First, under the circumnstances, I don't believe you are obliged to play by the rules anymore, so put your misgivings in your pocket.
If cheating for money won't work for you, then the next best thing is to cheat for items and sell them. Giftxp yourself enough XP to max out your haggle feat, and then go down to your local vendor, cheat yourself a few items, sell them, and repeat.

It shouldn't affect the outcome of the game in any way.

The actual command to give money is - I think - money [number] (so, money 500) command to give yourself cash. if that's not working, I'd just follow vrth's suggestion, though I don't know if I'd max out my haggle - personally. A list of commands and how to ennable the console can be found here .

Thanks for the response, I only cheated my picks, armor and keys, I'd rather not spawn some money.
Starting from scratch will make it more challenging :) and I will enjoy it more this way.

It will add a level of challenge to the game, that's for sure! Good luck with it.
